Hotel.

Adult ECMO: All Grown Up – Bypass in the 4th Decade

Join us in beautiful San Diego for the first State of the Art 
course on adult ECMO sponsored by the Extracorporeal Life Support
Organization (ELSO), the day prior to our annual meeting. Taught 
by nationally and internationally known experts in adult 
Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO), the course will 
include critical aspects of patient selection, cannulation, 
support initiation, circuit and patient management, as well as, 
a demonstration of currently available equipment. 
The course is designed for providers in Critical Care, Pulmonology, 
Cardiology, Trauma Surgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery, and other 
fields involved in the care of adults with severe respiratory 
and cardiac failure. In addition to the didactic lectures, there 
will be two discussion periods and scheduled time during lunch and 
during an evening reception to allow direct interaction with the 
course faculty.
