ELSO would like to recognize Medical College of Georgia Health Inc. for receiving the Award for Excellence in Life Support!

One of the reasons Medical College of Georgia Health Inc. was found noteworthy as specified by the ELSO Award Committee is:

This medical director has initiated an in house credentialing program for all new ECMO physicians. These physicians attend the same ECMO didactic class and water drills as the new ECMO specialists. They are then credentialed under the direct supervision of the Medical Director. A new physician is not allowed to direct the care of an ECMO patient until they have met all requirements.
