ELSO would like to recognize Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital for receiving the Award for Excellence in Life Support!

One of the reasons Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital was found noteworthy as specified by the ELSO Award Committee is:

You are awarded this honor based on your continuing work to maintain excellence in your ECMO program. Your unique CEEP Program (continuing ECMO education points) helps to make your institution a recognizable expert in continuing ECMO education. You have a strict recertification policy for Specialists who have had no ECMO hours for 3 months, and require experienced Specialists to retake the entire ECMO course if they have not had pump time for 6 months.
