One of the reasons Children's Hospitals & Clinics of Minnesota-Minneapolis was found noteworthy as specified by the ELSO Award Committee is:

You are awarded this honor based on your well organized, complete, and impressive application. You provide a comprehensive class for the bedside nurse that enhances their professional development. You have an excellent training program for your Specialists and ECMO physicians. All physicians must pass a rigorous center specific credentialing process to be able to care for the ECMO patient.
